Description

In Professor Riona’s Treasure, humans and goblins share a peaceful world—but that harmony depends on a fragile barrier between realms. Riona Tachibana, once a famous actress, now works as a teacher and advises the drama club. Her ordinary life takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a beautiful pearl at a shrine. The moment she touches it, the mysterious jewel breaks. Riona soon learns that the pearl is the “Golden Treasure Ball,” a sacred object that keeps the real world separate from the other world. Without its protection, the two realms will connect, allowing demons to pour into her world. Only goblins possess the ability to create the jewel, a responsibility that underpins their coexistence with humans. Unfortunately for Riona, the only goblins in the area capable of restoring it are the Gobkichi—the sinister tribe that haunts and stalks her. Recreating the Golden Treasure Ball requires pure gold worth 10 million yen, leaving Riona with an enormous burden and an unwelcome reliance on her pursuers. Can the former star raise enough money to buy the gold, restore the barrier, and keep the malicious Gobkichi at bay?
