Description

Mind Over Morals follows the MC and a family fractured by their father’s imprisonment years ago—supposedly for political reasons. Amanda is a retired nurse, Lucia is a police officer, and Lucy and the MC are studying chemistry. As the older sister, Lucia directs constant anger and resentment toward the household, particularly Lucy, whose anarchic outlook and attraction to the criminal world clash with everything Lucia stands for. For years, their opposing values seemed to explain the endless arguments, while Amanda remained passive, refusing to take sides or offer answers. But conversations between Amanda and Lucia gradually lead the MC and Lucy to suspect that the two women are concealing something. Together, they set out to uncover the secret while navigating troubles beyond their family home. Lucy’s past threatens to pull her back into a life she promised to leave behind. Her best friend Pamela, thrown out of her family’s home and left without a job, has returned to the criminal world through smuggling contracts—and wants Lucy alongside her again. Lucy once ran small side businesses with Ellie and swore she would never return to that way of life, but the prospect of money is difficult to ignore. More troubling still, Pamela’s new connections reach much higher than Lucy anticipated. Meanwhile, the MC must navigate a relationship with Camila, whose affection can become overbearing and who is struggling to conceal her own urges. Her home life is equally unsettled: her mother, Emanuel, has recently remarried, and Camila refuses to accept either her new stepfather, Eugene, or her stepsister. After each fight, she leaves and ignores her mother’s calls. Between family tensions, studies, Camila, and other circles of friends, the MC faces competing demands with no easy resolution. With a branching story shaped by your decisions, Mind Over Morals lets you help the judge or pursue a criminal path. Every choice is remembered, and the people around you respond to how you have treated them. Corruption, crime, intrigue, and moral uncertainty drive a story in which you can choose to do good or embrace wrongdoing—but nothing is ever simply black or white.
