Description

Forest Of The Blue Skin (FOBS) is an in-development fantasy action platformer by Zell23, featuring 2D artwork, animated scenes, side-scrolling combat, and a male protagonist. Its village-centered premise revolves around encountering monsters, capturing them, and bringing them back home. Monster girls inhabit the game’s various areas, with some appearing in more than one location. Contact with most enemies causes damage or triggers a grapple, making positioning and a quick recovery after being knocked down important parts of exploration. Many monster girls can be captured and become friendly NPCs at your house. A speech bubble containing an exclamation mark signals that a monster is ready to capture: approach her and press the down arrow key. A sound effect and the monster’s disappearance confirm success. Captured characters unlock repeatable adult interactions at home without health loss, along with some control over how those scenes unfold. The game is uncensored and includes sexual themes involving monster characters, coercion, domination, possession, and mind control. Beyond its capture system, FOBS features quests, treasures, boss encounters, and expanding environments such as the Wasteland. Oboro-sama operates a shop, while combat options include Special Knuckles and the Throwing Knifes skill. Weapons can be switched with Q without opening the menu. Special Knuckles favor powerful, fast, short-range unarmed attacks, but offer no guard mechanic and expose the player to greater close-range risks; they also allow use of the Dive Kick without equipping the Ring of Flight. Some characters, events, and weapon skills remain unfinished and are marked “Not Yet Implemented,” and certain boss encounters currently provide no rewards. Build 29 is listed with a release date of August 30, 2026, and supports English, Chinese, and Japanese. Development remains ongoing, with monster behavior, maps, encounters, and other systems subject to further adjustments. Installation is straightforward: extract the downloaded files and run the game.
