Description

In How To Build A Magnificent Kingdom, the once-thriving Kingdom of Avon has been devastated by a massacre remembered as the “Calamity King” incident. King Regnault, formerly a benevolent ruler, seemingly descended into madness and slaughtered the subjects who failed to escape his country in time. With its treasury empty and its lands in ruins, Avon now has only four citizens left: Princess Ariadne, her maid Luluka, Knight Commander Grey, and you—a humble Knight Apprentice. Having only just recovered from a serious illness, Ariadne awakens to discover the destruction that unfolded while she was bedridden. Yet she refuses to believe that the father she knew and loved could have committed such horrors. Taking her place as Avon’s new queen, she makes a first decision that demands extraordinary courage: she will rebuild her shattered kingdom, restore its former prosperity, and clear Regnault’s name. It is an audacious ambition for a nation with almost nothing to its name. With some good old-fashioned pillaging and the support of a couple of adventurers, you set out on the difficult road to recovery. Helping Ariadne bring Avon back from the brink also means uncovering the mysteries behind its downfall—and learning what truly happened to the kingdom she is determined to save.
